Why isn’t the market data included?
Two reasons, both in your favor. Market data is licensed — bundling it would make this a rental with recurring fees. Instead you buy your own one-time download from Databento (~$20 for years of history), you hold the license directly, and there’s nothing ongoing to pay. The setup guide walks you through the exact purchase.
How much does the data cost?
Historically around $15–25 per instrument for 16 years of 1-minute bars, so roughly ~$50 for all three (NQ, ES, Gold) — and often less after Databento’s signup credit. You only need NQ + ES to start. Confirm the live price on their site.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Setup is a handful of terminal commands, and the included guide is written so you can hand the whole thing to an AI agent (Claude Code, Cursor) and say “set this up.” Most people are running in 20–40 minutes, most of it waiting for the download.
Does it work for micro and full-size contracts?
Both. Defaults are the micros (MNQ / MES / MGC). Trading full-size? Set the dollars-per-point per instrument in Settings and your P&L is exact.
What does the AI coach cost to run?
You bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI key and pay your provider directly — typically pennies per question. No key? The sim still works fully; the coach panel just stays off.
Is my trading data private?
Completely. There’s no telemetry and no cloud. Your reps, sessions and settings live in your browser and on your own machine. We never see your data, your key, or your trades.
